The Real Estate market is a very volatile thing, there are no guarantees, even when you do end up finding the best property. Chances are that when you finally do find “the one”, someone else has as well, and it is the SAME PROPERTY! When it feels right, you need to act and write an offer on that property. Some homes sit on the market for months while others weeks and others only days. You do not want to end up in a bidding contest and having to compete for your dream home, this will likely cost you more money in the ling run or even worse, cost you the home of your dreams. When you like the property OFFER! Do not become one of those people who sit around waiting for everything on their wish list (because that will never happen, if you find a home with 6/10 of your needs/wants then you are in a good place), if you sit too long the best property for you will have already passed you buy. I have seen properties get no offers for month and receive 3 in one day. I have also seen properties go in a day of being on the market. I had a client have to compete agains 4 other offers on a property because he waited a week too long. You need to act and act fast, there are no guarantees here.
