I have been asked a lot about properties that have foreclosed and been repossessed by banks. Some people are scared of these types of properties because sometimes the previous owners took no care in maintaining the home and lots of them were previously rental properties. These can be very smart investments, if the property has very good bones it is usually worth while. It is pretty easy to drive a repossessed property down in price, which gives you the room to afford improvements and upgrades to make the property increase in value by quite a bit. I urge you to give these a shot and take the time to look at them, it could easily be worth your while. As always, you need to get out and see homes, get into as many as you can and see what will work and what won’t.
