Rosemont is an area in Regina that is bordered by the RCMP Depot on Dewdney Ave. and Lewvan Drive. Rosemont and Mount Royal are mature neighbourhoods located in this west-central section of Regina. This is a very large area, with most homes built in the mid-1940’s to 1960 as well as some older apartments too. . More development occurred in the west section of this area from 1960 to 1980.

Here you will find a large mix of well-taken care of properties and others that have not been as well maintained and are in need of some TLC.  Some areas within Rosemont & Mount Royal are considered safer and better than others. If your children have athletic talents and ambitions, Rosemont is home to the popular Martin Collegiate, which is Regina’s Sports Academy for high school students. The school is very unique in that it offers specialized programs for student athletes in order to fulfill their academic needs and to give them accredited courses in their preferred sport. There are also a few local elementary schools in the neighbourhood.

  Rosemont has its own smaller shopping centre which includes a grocery store,  hardware and pharmacy chains, barber shop, medical clinic, as well as the Bolarama bowling centre and the ever-popular Juliana Pizza and lounge which has been in operation in this community for over 40 years.

You can also enjoy the great outdoors in either A. E. Wilson Park walkway or Rick Hansen Park, which has been recognized for its accessible design.
