Edmund and Melissa Kimens Case Study

Goal

Edmund first called me as he had been trying to find a cottage for him and his family to spend summers on the lake and even some time ice fishing in the winter. They also wanted to find a property that wasn’t too far of a drive from Regina so that commuting back to the city was easy if they needed to.

Problem

They really wanted the property to have a true “cabin” feel – something rustic with a great lake view that wasn’t overly renovated with current decor. Most of the properties for sale around Last Mountain Lake were really lacking what they desired and they were having difficulty finding the perfect property that met their criteria.

Solution

Through excellent online exposure via MLS®️(REALTOR.ca), our site https://ccrealty.ca, OVLIX, Point2Homes, Kijiji, 3rd party sites/social media avenues including Facebook and Instagram, as well as print advertising, Edmund found a listing at Saskatchewan Beach that I currently had listed. It seemed to meet all of his criteria so he made the call to inquire on the property. After going over the details on the phone of what this historic, rustic property had to offer, we booked a private viewing. First showing went well so Edmund booked a second showing and brought the family the second time around to make sure everyone liked it as much as he did.

Turns out this was the perfect cottage for The Kimens’ and they decided to write an offer on it. The first offer wasn’t put together but with a little perseverance and patience we made a second attempt. We negotiated with a second offer and agreed on a price was acceptable to both parties, putting the deal together! This was the perfect resort getaway for the Kimens’ and I couldn’t be happier that we were able to make their hunt for a cabin a reality!
